Lend a Hand…

…we promise to give it back when we’re done with it.

Service projects coming up this week. Here’s how you can jump in.

1) Oxford Manor Kid’s Club (Noon-2pm on Saturday)- You don’t need a fake ID to get in.  This is a Summit ministry to under-privileged kids in a rough neighborhood in Durham.  Great way to share Christ and love on some kids.  Just contact Ben @ benlaw@mac.com and tell him you want to help out this Saturday. I am sure there is Kool-Aid involved.

2) Baby Hope Day (March 30th @ UNC’s campus)- This is an event put on by Pregnancy Support Services of Chapel Hill.  They need some people to man tables. Contact rachlew@email.unc.edu for more info and to volunteer for a time slot.

3) Community Kitchen in Chapel Hill (Friday, 9:30am- Noon)- Cook some food, serve some food, talk to hungry people.  Great way to meet the needs of the hungry in Chapel Hill.  You can come for part of the morning for food prep, or come just to serve the meal.  Contact Jenny @ jfannin@email.unc.edu for more info or to volunteer.

4) Loaves and Fishes-Raleigh (Date TBA in April)- Come serve hungry families in Raleigh and help with childcare.  Contact Ryan @ raparker@ncsu.edu for more info.

Serve, invite your friends…it’s totally worth it!
